Abstract

In contrast to platform capitalism, a model in which companies manage workers in precarious conditions through algorithms, this article intends to deepen the idea of platform cooperativism, exploring its possibilities as an instrument of social transformation and inclusion in Brazil. It starts from the history of the solidarity economy in the countryto imagine structured solutions insolidarity, social participation and appreciation of common goods. All froman understandingthatthe development oftechnologymustbe thought beyond thecreation of disposable consumer goods with programmed obsolescence. To design and build solutions, modes of interaction and shared management between social movements with their popular demands and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) developers are necessary. Articulating such segments is the challenge for the development of algorithms with social protagonism in projects capable of operating in favor of the public good - that is thebest wayto guaranteedigital sovereignty and advance with solidary economic ventures in Brazil.
