This article analyzes four projects developed at the Application School of the Federal University of Pará (EA/UFPA) through the Program of Support for Methodological Intervention Projects (PAPIM) in 2008. These projects intentionally and systematically articulated art, culture, and education. It is a historiographical study that uses the 2008 PAPIM Collection as a primary documentary source to demonstrate that, at that historical moment, the EA/UFPA established itself as a privileged space for the production of pedagogical practices anchored in artistic languages and cultural identities. The analyzed projects — Prática da Ginástica Rítmica e da Dança (Rhythmic Gymnastics and Dance Practice), A História em Cantos (History in Songs/Corners), Língua e Cultura Inglesa através do Teatro (English Language and Culture through Theater), and Miritibrincar, Miritizar — evidence a conception of education committed to the aesthetic, symbolic, and territorial dimensions of human formation. The article contributes to the construction of an institutional history of the EA/UFPA and to contemporary debates on territoriality, identity, and education.
