The aim of this article is to carry out a brief analysis of different discourses within the Protestant sphere in order to identify how these communications have influenced and directed the dialogue of the Christian public in the face of the numerous conflicting issues emerging from the current political landscape. The exponential growth of Protestant churches in recent decades occurs concurrently with discussions on issues such as abortion, sexuality, religious plurality, xenophobia, and many other topics that inflame debate not only within interdenominational circles, but also in the public and political arenas where churches are present. This analysis will be conducted in light of the notion of amicable communication, presented in this article as a hermeneutical possibility of AristotelianThomistic ethics, under the perspective of political friendship as a social virtue.
