This article presents how the Carimbó dance, articulated with the Amazonian Singing Toy, can contribute as a pedagogical strategy in the teaching-learning process in a school context. The research was conducted during the Professional Master's Program in Arts (PROF-ARTES/UFPA), from 2024 to 2026, at EMEF São Felipe, in Tailândia-PA, with students from the second cycle of elementary school. A qualitative approach was adopted, based on action research, aiming to understand the bodily and cultural experiences of the participants. The theoretical framework is based on authors such as Jastes (2023), Marques (2010, 2012), Loureiro (2015) and Andrade and Uchôa (2019). The results indicate that bodily playfulness favors the cognitive, creative, and expressive development of students, promoting the appreciation of Amazonian cultures. It is concluded that Carimbó constitutes a relevant pedagogical tool in dance education.
